Magic: - the manipulated
image still looks natural or 'REAL'. When people are removed, the
background needs to be filled. Often it requires drawing missing
part of a body or two, which requires combined and appropriate chemistry
of knowhow - of computer and digital technology, SEEING THE DIRECTION
OF THE LIGHT (that gives depth to the images and maintaining that
LIGHTING on the hand-drawn area of the photograph) and a bit of
imagination. In the above example, you can
clearly see that both mum and dad have had their right shoulders
and arms drawn in to complete the 'picture'. In the size that it
is displayed here on the screen, it is hard to see the intricate
details and accuracy of the 'newly hand-drawn' shoulders, arms,
chairs, background objects etc, that you can only see in actual
print/s. Adding
and drawing up the missing part in photographs and making them look
REAL is a rare skill and there isn't any place in Wellington or
for that matter in New Zealand, that offers general public this
service and produce as realistic image as above example on a day
in and day out basis. However,
if you find one, let the photoDoctor know, so this claim can be
corrected. (So far, since this was written and published on the
website; no one has come forward with any counter claim or any other
information for this statement to become invalid.)
photoDoctor
is rather proud of this fact.
